Overview

Reports to: Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Project Manager, or Director of Operations
 
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt
 
Normal Working Hours – Field: 7 am to 3:30 pm, or Office: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, plus additional hours as required
for completing project duties
 
Position Objective: Support the Superintendent and project team with on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee safety and project housekeeping
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, architects, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in scheduling and coordination of Subcontractors and material deliveries
• Report accidents of any type to Safety Team in a timely manner.
• Notify the Superintendent of labor and material needs
• Keep daily time records of hours worked
• Assist in coding materials to proper cost centers
• Create and maintain daily job reports
• Review shop drawings for contract conformance, field dimensions, etc.
• Maintain jobsite “record set” drawings
• Take and maintain jobsite progress photographs
• Assist in obtaining and tracking all necessary city inspections
• Assist in obtaining and terminating all temporary utilities requests
• Prepare all jobsite meetings to include scheduling, coordination, and agenda creation.
• Complete all punch list items
• Perform weekly review of job costs
• Maintain quality control
• Tool and equipment maintenance management
• Assist project team as required
• Complete training requirements as assigned
• Additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• Some college or work experience with Drafting, Surveying, Total Station, or CAD a plus
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction
• Confine Space Awareness, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred
• OSHA 30 certification
